TWA Hotel, New York
When we flew to Egypt earlier this summer, we had a 12+ hour layover in New York. We decided to leave the airport and get some sleep at a hotel. The hotel we stayed at was Trans World Airlines or TWA.
Trans World Airlines (TWA) was an airline company that existed from 1930 to 2001.
The whole hotel is set up as an airport terminal from the 1960s. It was really neat! They had everything from an old flight board in the lobby to old manual dial phones in the rooms.
If you ever have a layover in New York, I would highly recommend staying at the TWA hotel!
